A great idea to end a day of grilling, or grill these as a side for a main dinner menu, an appetizer, or just enjoy these grilled fruits as a healthy grilled snack recipe.
Everyone LOVES fruit kabobs!
Note - Different fruits of your choice can easily be substituted for the fruits listed in the ingredient list.
Be creative, and make your own fruit kabobs specialty!
The pieces (chunks or cubes) of cut up fruit should be about 1" size pieces.
Do not peel the fruit. (This will allow the fruit to keep
its original integrity, and will prevent the pieces of fruit from become
"mushy", and slipping between the grills on the barbeque).
Ingredients
1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, cut into pieces
3 nectarines, cut into pieces
3 peaches, cut into pieces
3 pears, cut into pieces
3 plums, cut into pieces
10 apricots, halved
liquid honey or corn syrup
Directions
Preheat or prepare the grill for medium-high heat.
Clean and oil the grates.
Using metal or bamboo (soaked in water) skewers, thread the pieces of fruit alternately onto the skewers.
When grilling fruit (and great for leafy green salads too) I love using my oil spray bottle that I can fill with the oil of my choice (see below).

Grill, uncovered, over medium-high heat until fruit is well heated, and some grill marks show, about 5 - 6 minutes, turning often.
During the last minute of grilling time, brush the fruit with honey or corn syrup.
This grilled fruit kabobs recipe makes enough for about 6 servings.
