Since peaches are plenty sweet, they do not require pairing with other fruits to enhance their flavour.
The "Yogurt Peach Smoothie" (below) includes milk and yogurt, and the "Ice Cream Peach Smoothie" includes milk and ice cream.
Many people ask if canned peaches can successfully be used to make peach drinks, and the answer is "yes"!
You can use sliced, canned peaches or frozen peaches instead of fresh peaches for these recipes.
Simply estimate the amount of canned or frozen peaches equivalent to the required amount of fresh peaches required, and omit, (or use less), ice cubes.
Also include some of the syrup from the canned peaches.
Some people like to add flavour additions to their homemade smoothies and provide a "kick" as an added bonus.
Flavour additions may include: ginger, mint, chocolate, and vanilla.

Ingredients
(I used one 14 oz. can of sliced peaches in syrup)
3 or 4 large *peaches, sliced
1 cup vanilla or chocolate ice cream
2 cups milk
chocolate sprinkles for garnish, optional
Directions
In a blender, combine the peach slices with the milk, and blend until smooth.
Add the ice cream, and blend on "low" for about 30 seconds. Do not blend too long or too high, because you want to keep the ice cream texture in the smoothie.
Serve immediately.
